On November 6, 2015, Provost Michael Quick announced a new strategic planning process. The new strategic plan would build on the 2011 USC Strategic Vision: Matching Deeds to Ambitions. Work on the new plan was guided by a faculty committee, co-chaired by Provost Quick and Vice Provost for Academic and Faculty Affairs, Elizabeth Graddy. The Provost’s Strategic Planning Committee worked to produce a strategic plan that moved the University of Southern California forward toward the goal of being the global private research university that also serves the public good.
In keeping with past practice, the strategic planning process included opportunities for broad participation by faculty, students, staff, alumni and all other members of the Trojan Family. The strategic planning committee sought community input through a series of roundtables and open meetings across our campuses and online at the strategic planning website.
