    To insure broad participation of members of our campus community, the main Strategic Planning Committee convened six subcommittees.

    Academic Culture and Faculty Profile: What will be the characteristics of leading research universities in 10 years? Given these characteristics, what should be the profile of USC’s faculty? What is the nature of the academic culture that will foster and be fostered by such a university?

    Co-chairs: Tom Hollihan (Annenberg) and Wendy Wood (Psychology & Marshall)

    Global Connections: What does it mean to be a global university? What institutional attributes will be necessary to achieve this status?

    Co-chairs: Mahvash Navazesh (Ostrow) and Nandini Rajagopalan (Marshall)

    Graduate Programs: How can USC raise significantly the quality of its Ph.D. programs and other flagship graduate programs? What should be the profile of USC’s graduate students?
